Position and Profile candidate
The company’s R&D activities are focused on the development and application of novel technology for recombinant protein expression in commercial production systems. Growth and market demand require expansion of our R&D team.
As a senior research technician, you will be involved in the development and optimization of expression vectors and systems for high level recombinant protein expression in cultured mammalian cells such as CHO and HEK cells. You have broad experience in the field of cell culture, transfection, cell line generation, gene cloning, expression analysis at RNA and protein level in eukaryotic systems, and all relevant associated techniques in the area of molecular and cell biology. Experience in the area of fungal and/or yeast biology and fermentation is a plus.
You have high working standards and appreciate the entrepreneurship required to work for a dynamic life science company as part of a highly motivated team of professionals. You enjoy working in a laboratory environment, and are capable of doing this independently. Excellent English writing and speaking skills are required.
